Getting paid (Stripe Connect)

When players buy perks, the money is yours. Citadel uses Stripe Connect: player payments go directly into your own Stripe account, and Citadel takes a 5% fee per transaction.

Connect your Stripe

On the Billing page, under Get paid by your players, click Connect Stripe. You'll be taken through Stripe's onboarding (business + identity + bank details). When it's done, the section shows Connected and you can open your Stripe dashboard from there.

You can browse and build your store before connecting, but you can't take player payments until your Stripe account is connected and able to accept charges.

The fee

Citadel takes a 5% application fee on each player transaction; the rest settles to your Stripe balance and pays out on your Stripe schedule. You set your own perk prices.

Refunds & disputes

Because you're the merchant of record, refunds and disputes are handled in your Stripe dashboard, like any other Stripe business.
